The Thai immigration authorities have confirmed that they canceled a visa for an Israeli woman aged 33, and arrested her as an incitement to deport her, after receiving complaints about her behavior toward staff and tourists on the tourist island of Koh Van. On 21 October, according to Thai media reports, the police that the woman had witnessed an incident inside one of the hotels on 18 October 2026 and that she had verbal accountability to staff in Shal Feng’s area, and that the resident’s office had retreated from the resort, claiming that the hotel was private.
