Daraa Health Director Dr. Khaled al-Omayan announced that the death toll from Jordanian airstrikes on southern Syria has risen to seven, including three children, a woman and three men, in addition to three people injured, among them a child.
The strikes targeted areas in the Daraa countryside, including Al-Taff, Nasib and Muzayrib, while emergency teams continue response operations and damage assessments.
Damascus stated that the strikes were carried out without prior coordination, while Amman says it targeted sites linked to armed groups connected to the Karak attack and that the operation was coordinated.
The toll is still not final, amid human rights reports saying it has risen to eight dead.
