The name of Saudi engineer Hussam Al-Asiri has returned to the spotlight after an image of a new appearance by him began circulating, amid renewed interest in his previous statements and in what followers have described as "codes" and messages he hints at in his posts.
Al-Asiri sparked widespread controversy in August and September 2026 after he announced that he had left Saudi Arabia and spoke of being subjected to threats and pressure, expressing fears for his life and the safety of his family.
He also leveled accusations against prominent Saudi figures, including Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and former Royal Court adviser Saud al-Qahtani, claiming to possess sensitive information and documents that he might reveal later.
In previous statements, Al-Asiri spoke of evidence, recordings and documents that he said support his account, raising questions about the nature of the information in his possession and the possibility of its publication.
As for the appearance now circulating, it is not yet clear whether it contains a new message or signals linked to his previous statements.
The accusations made by Al-Asiri remain an account attributed to him, and their content has not been proven by a published independent investigation. HANZALA has also been unable to verify the existence of actual codes or encrypted messages in the latest image.
Will Al-Asiri reveal new information, or is his appearance reviving the controversy over his previous statements?
