Veteran Syrian actress Samia Al-Jazairi is preparing to return to her audience through the third season of the popular comedy series "Abu Janti," after her joining the cast alongside star Samer Al-Masri was confirmed.

Photos were published of the veteran actress signing her participation contract, including a touching shot showing Samer Al-Masri kissing her hand as an expression of respect and appreciation for her long artistic career.

Samia Al-Jazairi is expected to return to portray the character "Umm Al-Nour," while Samer Al-Masri reprises his famous character "Abu Janti," and Ayman Reda returns as "Abu Laila."

Preparations are underway to film the new season in Damascus, ahead of its broadcast during the Ramadan 2027 season, in an anticipated return of one of the most prominent Syrian comedy productions, which first premiered in 2010.

The new production carries the audience's hopes of recapturing the comedic and social atmosphere that distinguished the two previous seasons, and of presenting new stories reflecting daily life in Syria.

❤️ Samia Al-Jazairi's return is not merely a new artistic role, but a long-awaited reunion with one of the giants of Syrian drama, who has left her mark on the memory of generations of viewers.
